In the latest update of Photoshop when I drag with the zoom tool to move in, it doesn't draw a visible selection indication the area that will be zoomed. It is really disconcerting, and makes using the tool difficult. Any word on fixing this one, or others experiencing this problem?

Which specific version of Photoshop are you using?
Which OS version are you using?

Did you change the zoom tool to use scrubby zoom (which won't draw a rectangle) and forget about that change?

System OS is 10.11 (15A284)

Definitely not using scrubby zoom...does anyone actually use that?

Yes, lots of people are using the scrubby zoom.

Did you also install the MacOS 10.11 compatibility plugin for Photoshop (to work around known OS issues)? See https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/...

Do you have the 10.11.1 update installed? It fixes some graphics driver issues.
