Zoom Grid navigation

When reviewing a photo with zoom I divide the image in "sections" and move the white square in the Navigation pane tho change to the next section. The problem is that when there is a uniform background is difficult to know where the section ends and I spend a lot of time positioning the view. It would be nice that Lightroom created a virtual grid when the image is zoomed so you could easily move from section to section without missing any portion of the picture

Have you tried using the Page Down button?  Start in the top left corner, retouch, Page Down, retouch, repeat.... when it gets to the bottom of its first imaginary column, it automatically starts again at the top of the next.
