ELEMENTS 12: xvidcor.dll not found error

I just installed photoshop elements 12. Works great except for one thing. Whenever I bring up the photo organizer, I get an error box that says "xvidcore.dll not found". When I click OK it disappears but comes back a few seconds later. It's not fatal. The program works, and if I move the dialog box off to the side, I can live with it. It's annoying though, and I'd like to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Sounds like you installed a third party codec on your system, and that codec DLL is no longer present.

Is it causing my copy of photoshop 12 to crash?

You said it wasn't fatal - but reinstalling the codec would eliminate that error message.
