Photoshop: xml to xmp

I have many photos scanned in to ps2. I used a custom genealogy xml panel to store data and display in pleasing format. when cs4 came out I was unable to use my xml panel, and I cant seem to convert it to xmp (case  ADB-10798857-G5W4 CRM:08453000002261). All the data seems to be scattered in xmp and no amount of bridge workaround can make it display correctly. I have been waiting like 7 years for a fix...

There is a new format for XML metadata panels that you must use for Bridge and Photoshop.

first let me say thank you for responding. it doesn't really help me though. have 100s of photos with xml data that doesn't show correctly since cs2.  I need to make it somehow so the xmp panel correctly displays the xml data. Can post my custom file info panel if that would help

Your panel won't work. You have to recreate it in the new format.
