I was just testing uploading x3f file(sigma) ,i realised that the file can be uploaded but it can't be downloaded and there are no images displayed. I understand this file format may be new since camera was just launched (sept 2012, singapore) Or is it because file size is too big , it is 50MB yes 50MB. Like i said i was just testing . Any comments or help. Thanks

X3f file format is already supported on Photoshop.com. The raw file upload size limit is 200 MB, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Can you try uploading more x3f files, since this could be one of a case?

I didn't think Adobe ever supported Sigma's x3F file format, which is used by the Sigma DP1/DP2/DP3 Merrill cameras, so I tested it again today on PhotoShop 6 and got this error message:

"Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."

The Sigma DPx Merrill cameras are truly amazing, and I think it would be a feather in Adobe's cap to support the x3F file format. In the meantime, I'll work with the limited functionality of Sigma's PhotoPro 5 software until something better comes along. Hopefully that will be PhotoShop and/or Lightroom...
