Odd results in Bridge when saving PSD and JPEG

An image I have been working with suddenly looked different when displayed in bridge than in CS6. In bridge (and in all other programs) it appeared darker and cropped. Its not a complicated file, then layers where two has layer styles and filters applied on them.

I managed to find what caused the effect (bug for sure). If I turn of the Stroke layer style the image looks the same in CS6 and bridge but of course not with the look I want.

I purged the cache for the file and for a milli second the CS6 look flashes before the distorted one appears again.

Tried to save the file as jpeg, same result.

Finally I tried to save it as TIFF, success, it looks the same in bridge as in CS6. Tried again to save as psd but then the image looks wrong again.
Also, trying to export the TIFF file to jpeg restores the bad look.
