Adobe Premiere Elements 10 - Bug in Mac-Version!

Input PAL 720 x 576 (DV or mpeg) - Output h.264 4:3 (e.g. 720 x 540 or 640 x 480).

Result: black small bars in Qucktime Player.

Bug: Wrong aspect ratio in editor window. When scaling the video clip up (slightly across the border of the editing window) then there is no black bar any more when playing back the rendered material.

Error in settings: "Standardwert für Skalierung" (don't know how it is called in English - see general preferences) must be wrong as imported 720 x 576 material does not fill out the whole space of the visible editing windows. When it is rendered you end up with bars (I am not talking about 16:9 anamorphic stuff but a BUG).

Try it out. Import 720 x 576, render it with let's say iPad setting and enjoy the slight black bars when playing it back in Quick Time
