I suggested yesterday that I would love to see Lightroom with GPS capacity. I wonder if Lightroom designers would consider this. It is the only feature of Aperture that I miss and I think photographers would like this feature. I also think Adobe would recoup their investment in this feature quickly!

What do you mean by "GPS capacity"? That could mean hundreds of different things.

Can you specify how the new LR4-map module falss short of your expectations?

For me, once current bugs are fixed, it looks quite good!

GPS capacity would mean that if you wanted to see where a photo was taken, you could do so. This feature would be built into the Lightroom program not into a specific camera as Scott Kelby has indicated in talking about LR3. I have not yet seen LR4-map module. Is Lightroom 4 now ready for release or as you state, are there still current bugs to be fixed.

Thanks for your response,

If you have never seen true GPS in a photo organization program, look at Aperture! Lightroom is a better program for a variety of reasons but it would be even better if it had GPS capability.
