Lightroom: Would love to be able to sync edits across multiple similar photos

Is there any update on this? I know this has been discussed here before, but it seems its been a while. Trying to move some of my workflow to my new iPad Pro, and I’d love to be able to sync some basic curve/contrast edits to all my photos before I work on more specific edits. Or if I have, for example, a family photo session all in similar light, I’d love to be able to edit one photo and sync them all. I realize you can copy and paste, and as a part time photographer that should be fine. But every now and then I do larger shoots where I’m sure this will become a time consuming headache.

I support this feature proposal; it’s a good and very useful one! I often find myself in a similar scenario, so it would be a good time-saving addition to have it included.

It seems like such a basic feature that I feel like I must be missing it. I’d like to import the photos directly to iPad/Photos. Delete some of the obvious duds. Then import everything to Lightroom. I’d create an album in Lightroom and call it “Johnson Family Photoshoot 2018” or whatever. Then import the pics from Photos to that album. Then start editing. Assuming all the photos are in similar light, I’d like to edit one photo, then copy and paste the settings to all of them at once. I realize you can copy the settings and paste individually, but if you have 100+ photos that could take a while.

I've found a "workaround" to that issue. I know it kind of sucks and it requires all the images to be uploaded (which can take some time on the filed...). Seems silly, but I rdp my computer at home at apply the settings on deskop. Is te quickest and easyest way I've found so far...
