Lightroom: Can't reduce secondary display's width nearly as much on Mac as Windows

I like to edit from time to time using the Second Window button on a laptop. After pressing on the 2 in the top left corner of the filmstrip, I like to have the Develop Module on the left "screen" and then run a "virtual second screen" on the right (in grid view).

In the Windows version of Lightroom 5, I can compress the horizontal width of the second window down quite a bit and have it look like the filmstrip at about 100 pixels in size.

Unless I'm doing something wrong on the Mac version of Lightroom 5, it can only compress the window down to about 500 pixels horizontally. I would like it to be able to compress the window down to about 100-150 pixels horizontally, like on Windows.

I have other suggestions related to the second window, but I'd like to first see if it is possible on a Mac to compress the second virtual display down to about 100-150 pixels in width.

Thank you!
