What Adobe software is Windows 8 compatibile?

I downloaded the Windows 8 upgrade assistant. It checked my computer for compatible software. It specifically said that Adobe Acrobat 8 was not compatible, Premiere Elements 9 is compatible, but Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4.2 were not on the compatible list and they were not listed as not compatible. I will admit I haven't searched very much. But has anyone seen any indicators?

Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4 are compatible.

The only issue you might see is one with video drivers. The drivers that ship with Win 8 aren't the most recent available from the card vendors.

I recommend that users make sure they have the lastest drivers from either AMD or nVidia.

If you still have problems with the latest drivers, try setting the advanced settings for Photoshop's Preferences>Performance... so that the drawing mode is set to "Basic." Instructions for both can be found below:
