new computer several months back windows 7. I installed cs2 and it works fine. now I am buying a cintiq 22hd and I purchased cs6 so everything will be up to date and new. So the problem is, I can not get cs2 to uninstall from the disc so I can transfer my code. it stop responding at the transfer screen. click transfer and wait, and wait, and wait... hit cancel or any button and get the no response chime. after many attempts I gave up and installed cs6. it works fine so far, except for mini bridge.... it won' t open. and from what I gather..this issue is because it conflicts with cs2 bridge.. I need to remove cs2. any tricks or tips I can try... can I deactivate and transfer serial number code via phone? thank you. chuck

There is no longer a need to uninstall.
Adobe has turned of the activation Servers and you won't be able to activate anyway.
For this reason Adobe has provided a new CS2 Version on their Web Page along with Serial number just for those cases. These numbers do not require activation.

Please be aware you are only entiteled to use these number if you are a legal CS2 customer.

Does Bridge CS6 launch on it's own if you launch it from Windows Explorer or choose File>Browse in Bridge...?
