All drivers are up to date. Windows is up to date. Photoshop is up to date. When loading PS cc Windows crashes and reboots.

What does the detailed crash report say? Look in the system event viewer or reliability reports for the details.

If the system is really rebooting, you have an OS bug, a low level driver bug, or defective hardware.

NVidia had a driver update recently that caused kernel_security_check errors and could cause the system to BSOD, shutdown, or reboot. If you updated your Nvidia driver recently, check with them for solutions.

I have reinstalled the 2014 version of Photoshop cc and it works fine now. Makes me think it's an issue with Adobe rather than Windows or Nvidia? Everything else works fine i.e Indesign, lightroom etc.

No, because applications CANNOT cause the system to shut down, reboot, or freeze. If the entire system is rebooting, then you have a bug in the OS, a bug in a low level driver, or defective hardware.

What Applications can do is call the part of the OS or driver that has a bug, or optimize their code and stress the hardware differently (this is why Photoshop is used to stress test computer hardware designs).

If you have an NVidia GPU, then check with NVidia about the fix for their driver bug which is causing kernel_security_check errors.

Have you run a RAM stress test lately. I have seen bad RAW cause machines to reboot.
