I updated my Microsoft Surface to the latest windows update and since then I can't print from Photoshop. I'm running the latest build 19.1.3.

Everytime I press print an error box appears saying "There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents"

After this the print button on the File menu is greyed out? Can you help - Adobe support remoted into the machine but was unable to fix including removing the preference file from the application data folder. The only change from earlier in the week was the new version of Windows 10.

If you hold down the spacebar when you select File > Print... does it work?

I was also getting the RAM issue described in this topic. Applying the registry fix described in this page has also fixed the printing issue

The fix was never stated. Several others have the same irrational problem with schizophrenic Photoshop programming. Do you have any insight to share with us? How did you get it to actually print?

What is the error you get or behavior you see? If you hold down the spacebar when you select File > Print... does it work? The fix that Emily refers to for out fo RAM and printing errors with newer versions of Windows 10 with old versions is described here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/invalid-numeric-entry-integer-96-8-required-photoshop.html
