Photoshop: Will Photoshop be improved so it can be used as an efficient and comfortable UI design tool?

Since Fireworks isn't in production anymore, I'm missing some great features like multi-pages, comfortable workflow with vectors, snap to pixel using a shortcut, etc. I'm not happy with the idea of switching to Bohemian Coding's Sketch...

Have you tried Photoshop CS6 or later for your design work?

CS6 added numerous improvements for designers:

We've added additional features, such as Adobe Generator:

Linked Smart Objects:

Type styles, copy CSS, Edge Reflow interop//export, multiple path selection/editing, editable rounded rectangles, etc.
