Adobe Photoshop Express. It has the reduce noice package added on. It has always worked fine. Now it won't even load a photo from my albums to photoshop.

Hi Raymond

Do you have a lot of other apps open in the background? If so, can you double-tap your iPhone's Home button, and long-press the icons of other apps and select the red "-" minus to close them?

If that doesn't help, please share some more details... Is it a specific photo that Photoshop Express can't open? Do other images open? Was the photo shot using the iPhone 4, or was it from another device? What version of iOS are you running on your device?

Thanks,
Charlie

Will not open any photo. I've tried photos taken with my iPhone as well as imported. There are no apps running in the background and my current IOS is up to date (4.3.4). Like I've said before I've been using this app for a very long time without any problems until now. I select a photo and it reads "loading" and nothing ever loads. I used my wife's phone and it works just fine. We both have the same model iphone's. There really isn't anything to do. Ive removed it from my phone and even tried installing it through iTunes on my computer. Same results. What really upsets me off is that I've paid for the reduce noise package and my wife has the free version.

Hi Raymond

It's highly unusual for the app to suddenly stop working, and it's a problem I can't reproduce.

I did once have a problem with another iOS app (that serves an entirely different purpose). The app would freeze and spontaneously quit, and like you I ensured I didn't have lots of other things running in the background. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it was no help. Backing up my iPhone and then restoring it via iTunes solved my issue. Could you try that, and let us know if it does or doesn't help?

It sounds like you may have turned off Location Services, either for your whole device or at least fo rour app. Can you check Settings > Location Services > PS Express, and ensure it's set to On. Our app doesn't track you or your pictures. Rather, iPhone OS doesn't allow our app to browse all your photos freely when Location Services is disabled, because location info is stored in the file info. This is iPhone trying to keep your location and other personal info safe. Again, let me assure you that we don't abuse this info.

If this doesn't reflect the problem you're having, please let us know so we can try other troubleshooting advice.

Thanks!

Apple moved the location of this setting in iOS6. In Settings, please look under Privacy, and make sure Location Services is On. Then, also in Privacy, open the menu Photos, and ensure the app is set to On here as well.

Hi Elizabeth

By Settings, I was referring to the main device settings, not settings inside the Photoshop Express app.

For iOS 4 and iOS 5, Location Services is listed in the main view in Settings, and inside there you should find Photoshop Express.

In iOS6, settings for Location Services are located under Privacy. In addition to ensuring Location Services is On, you must also open Photos settings nearby and ensure PS Express is set to On.
