Will Macbook Pro Retina i5 run Photoshop CC and LR5?

I'm concerned about reports of lag with CC on a Macbook Pro Retina - can anyone tell me if this is a common problem or if it's been fixed please? I don't want to spend £1100+ then find CC and LR5 are as slow as my Windows 7 laptop. Is anyone using a Macbook Pro Retina successfully with CC and LR5?

MBP spec would be: 13" screen, 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with 3MB shared L3 cache. 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L onboard memory and 256GB of flash storage, Intel Iris Graphics.

Thanks

You haven't told us the specs of your Windows 7 laptop, so it's tough to compare.

The 13" only has a dual core processor, so the 15" with the quad core is noticeably faster in Lightroom, without a significant price jump if you don't specifically need the 13" size. That said, the 13" is certainly useable. It just depends what you're comparing against.

What reports are you referring to?
We've seen driver bugs cause lag, and third party utilities, but there are no overall lag problems in Photoshop CC.
