The print dialog box never opens when I attempt to print from CS5. How do I fix this? I'm unable to adjust any settings related to printing, since I think they all reside within this dialog box.

Hi Andrea. Did this printer ever work in CS5?

Is Photoshop up to date? http://adobe.ly/PS-Up-To-Date

What OS are you on? If on Windows, is the print driver up to date?

I was having a problem getting the print settings box in CS5 to open. Tried everything, turned everything on and off. Tried different printers. Then I went to the troubleshooting page and got the instructions about resetting preference. I did that and the problem was solved. I will try to drag in the zipped corrupted preference file, as requested. Well, that didn't seem to work. Don't know how to do that. But thanks for fixing it.

After the above optimistic report I had to close my computer, and on reopening the project I was working on, again could not open the print settings box. Do I have to drag the preference file out every time I want to print? (hope not). Also, at the end of the tutorial about resetting prefs, the suggestion was made about sending the (presumably corrupted) prefs file to photoshop. I compressed it, but couldn't figure out how to send it. Any suggestions?
I might add, it worked in the past and I did check for printer and photshop updates.
Also, is there a "post" button on this page? I'm not sure how to be sure that this comment is uploading.
Thanks.
