why my dell xps can't run photoshop CS6 well?

I have a new dell xps laptop installed CS6 Beta, (i7 cpu, 8 gb rum and 1gb Nvidia video card) each time runs photoshop about 1-2 hours will find paint brush can't be resized, and some other function is disabled, but restart photoshop the functions come back.

What other functions are disabled?

Maybe GPU related functions? If so, that means that your video card driver returned an error and Photoshop had to disable the GPU features (because the driver couldn't perform them correctly). If that is the case, you probably need to update the video card driver, or contact the GPU maker about fixing the bugs in the driver software.

Determine what video card you have and go directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD) and download the latest driver: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/p...
