Photoshop Elements: Why is my PSE9 freezing on the editing page after I have edited a photo?

I have a new PC with Windows 7. When I have been working on editing a photo, I save my new photo. When I go to close the window to go back to my organizer, I am unable to close the page. When I click on the "x" nothing happens. I am able to minimize the page, but not close it out.

Go to your task manger and kill the running process of PSE9.

next time before launching make sure no other process of PSE is running if running kill all processes and then launch PSE.

For a safe side on launching delete the preferences of PSE. To delete preferences hold Alt+Shift+Ctrl keys while launching and it will ask you to delete preferences. Delete it.

Faheem - I can understand doing this on a rare occasion. You seem to imply that you would do this every time you started PSE. This certainly can't be a best of breed trait.
