Why are Adobe customers not being notified of the massive security breach of their personal information?

I was just notified by EverNote that my email address was on the list of compromised data in the recent massive Adobe security breach. First of all, why was I not notified by Adobe? This is very disconcerting. What do I need to do now to secure my account and personal information? Given Adobe's ridiculous new subscription-based pricing model for Creative Suite, and this negligent widespread security breach with no notification to Adobe customers, after over 20 years as an Adobe customer, I am now strongly considering abandoning your products completely. Please provide detailed instructions on how to secure all of my personal information.
