During the e-mail verification and password reset processes, Adobe sends e-mail messages to your registered address. If you don't receive them, check your e-mail software or service provider to make sure that the message hasn't been marked as spam. Check your spam folder, the Junk folder, or any other location where junk mail is delivered. If you have any doubts, be sure your e-mail is set to accept messages from Adobe.com, and try again. For more information about disabling your e-mail server's spam filtering, contact your web host or ISP.

I have followed the instructions and received the msg to reset password. It worked one time. 15 minutes later it didn't. I wrote the new password down so I know I inserted the right word. Now what do I do?

It worked from the comment button in this window. I'll try it from another window. Thanks.

What is all this? I simply forgot my Rebel password and you supply no way to retrieve it. If you can't help in a situation like this, after many years of using Photoshop Elements, I want out.

You can reset your password here
https://www.adobe.com/account/sign-in...

Click on the "trouble signing in" link and reset your password. Then you should be able to sign in with your Adobe ID.
