I am wondering: no substantial updates for Adobe Bridge CC 2015. Is the software dead? Releasing substantial and UI updates across nearly the entire creative suite (on 30th November 2015) leaving out the media browser - a core component for the cc suite - even no compatibilty update to Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan? What else should we think of, that than the software is abandoned?
I do not use Lightroom, so the Adobe Bridge CC and Camera Raw workflow is essential for my work. I think I am not the only one.
Would be good to see Adobe supporting Bridge in the future with a few maintenance/compatibility updates ... ain't no witchcraft or is it?

An update for Bridge is planned. I cannot give an exact date when it will be released but I can confirm an update is in the works. :)

Please do not forget to solve this old bug on Bridge:
ScriptUI.environment.keyboardState
All its properties keyName, ctrlKey, shiftKey, altKey, metaKey don't work and are always 'false' despite the key we press.

Jeffrey,
I understand from this conversation that a new update for Bridge is being worked on and I can only say I hope it is a major update. I have been using Photoshop since the second version 25 years ago. I use Bridge and Camera RAW exclusively (NO Lightroom). I have always considered Adobe a leader in computer technology but have been very disappointed lately by the fact that you have not updated the Bridge interface to be scaleable like the other programs/apps in the Suite. I purchased a new laptop 5 months ago for my teaching of Photoshop classes and it came with a 4K screen. Needless to say I am very upset that when I open Bridge I can't even see the folder names and drives because the text is so small due to no scaleable interface!! Even with my text set to scale to 245% in Windows. The menu bar is readable but not the folders and drives section and file names under images. I was told back then that a scaleable interface was being worked on yet I have seen 3 updates since then and no interface change.
I truly hope there is no plan to discontinue Bridge & Camera RAW as I have heard rumored. I dislike the workflow that Lightroom forces me into and I feel Lightroom is way too slow based on all the scrolling I must do to get to the adjustment sliders compared to Camera RAW. As a long time user and someone who has spent many thousands of dollars with you over the last 25 years I am asking you please update this interface soon and do not do away with Bridge & Camera Raw.

I also hope that Bridge is updated very soon, it is unworkable at the moment.
Another point I cannot work with lightroom it is far to complicated and slow.
Please update the interface in Bridge soon, I feel that I am paying for a product monthly and unable to only
use part of it, it's very frustrating. Please please do not do away with Bridge and
Camera Raw.

No idea anything will change but I just noticed Avinash Kumar Singh in few topics saying something that I understood we can count on their engagement; like for ex. in this one:
