Why is my Photoshop not opening from Lightroom in Creative Cloud?

When I am done working on my photo in Lightroom I can usually switch to Photoshop and do my final editing. That feature is gone. Last night I got a message after I was in Photoshop that my scratch disk was full, then I got out of PS and remove several gig of data off my hard drive. When I got back into Lightroom then tried to open PS it was greyed out or muted. I tried deleting the com.adobe.photoshop.plist file and that did not change anything. Please help.

Can you start PS, normally?

I am not sure of the order, but sometimes it works to install LR and/or PS, again.

I uninstalled Photoshop then reinstalled, no change. Do you think I should uninstall Lightroom and reinstall. If I do would I loose lrcat file.
Also I have LR 3 and PS 5 loaded on my computer from before CC, could that be causing an issue?

You won't lose your LR work if you uninstall and reinstall LR. The catalog is stored outside of the LR program area so remains whether or not LR is installed.
