What version of Photoshop are you using?
What OS version are you using?
What exactly happens when you try to launch Photoshop?
What changed on your system since Photoshop was last working?

Using Photoshop Elements 7.0
Windows XP
Nothing at all happens when I try to launch Photoshop.
My engineer doubled RAM and did a cleanup to improve speed. He says that should not have affected Photoshop - nothing else has changed.

Elements is not Photoshop - Elements is Elements.
Yes, something else has changed on the system. Have you tried reinstalling Elements 7?

Hmm - in my program list its description is 'Photoshop Elements 7', but you must pardon my ignorance on that. I'm very grateful for the suggestion and will try it asap.
