why do i get blocks of white and or black blocks when i zoom in or out on an image in photoshop

this is a persistant problem and is recreatable overtime i use the program. the program is unusable in this current state. i do have screen captures. the problem was recreated at the apple store and they said wait for the nnew system since it should solve the problem. in the mean time!

Try turning off or turning down the amount of Graphics Acceleration in PS / Prefs / Performance, then restart PS and see if the problem can be managed that way.

i set the amount to normal , if this does not work i will try basic and then turning it off.

On MacOS you will have to wait for Apple to fix the video driver bugs in an OS update. MacOS 10.10 has quite a few well known video driver bugs, and Apple is still working on solutions to those bugs.
