Why can't anyone at adobe support help me???

I could not install adobe photoshop and tried to contact adobe support. The first time I called the chat line and they tried to sell me a $400 anti virus to solve the problem. The second time I waited over an hour to chat with me online. The next few times I was disconnected after they were going to remotely look at the problem. I am at a loss what to do now. I am a new subscriber, do they not want my new business.

Adobe tried to sell you $400 anti-virus software? I find that hard to believe, because Adobe doesn't make any anti-virus software. Are you sure you contacted the right helpdesk?

I called the phone number on their website so I presumed it was legitimate

It sounds like you got maybe got hooked up with a scammer instead of Adobe. Can you provide the link where you got the number and the number you called and I will investigate.

It certainly looks that way. I called the phone number they had on their website which was 09 280 5550 but now when I look that number has changed....I had an online chat this morning with someone and they have fixed the problem. All good now
