I could not install adobe photoshop and tried to contact adobe support. The first time I called the chat line and they tried to sell me a $400 anti virus to solve the problem. The second time I waited over an hour to chat with me online. The next few times I was disconnected after they were going to remotely look at the problem. I am at a loss what to do now. I am a new subscriber, do they not want my new business.

Hi Rachelle.  Sorry to hear you're having trouble, but something doesn't sound right.

Adobe doesn't make anti-virus programs, so I can't imagine that any of their support people would be trying to sell you one, let alone one that costs $400.  Sounds like you were either in the wrong support group or there was some type of misunderstanding.

If you'd like assistance from these forums, I'd suggest giving as many details as you can - what operating system you're running, the exact product you're trying to install, what you're trying to install from (CD, a file from the Internet, etc.), any error messages you're getting, etc.  The more information you're able to provide, the more chance someone will be able to help.

Howdy Rachelle,

I can't agree with Tom's suggestions more.  We're here to help, but we'll need more information to go with.
