I am a longtime Photoshop user, but I haven't upgraded since Photoshop CS2 --on my bookshelf I see the nice user guides that came with CS and CS2. I just received the new CS5 that doesn't hardly have a single scrap of paper to read about this program, so you can study the program away from the computer etc. --is this progress? --why can't Adobe provide a printed user guide for a 700.00 program the way they used to for the older versions --even my old Photoshop 5.0 had a printed user guide!!

Adobe opted to save money on printing and shipping (the guides were the heaviest part of the box) and went to online help/documentation.

The online help for Photoshop contains all the same text, and more, that the printed manual used to contain.
