Adobe doesn't pre-announce features or projected dates.

Do I need to do another post, or you will un merge my post?

I already know it's not on the list of supported camera for tethering.

I Wonder if I waste my time here...

"Tethering for canon EOS R"

In the original unmerged topic, Bruce Houstoun replied that LR 8.3 added tethering support for the Canon EOS R, and Adobe employee G0apher provided a link to the list of supported cameras:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/tethered-camera-support.html. Perhaps you didn't see those replies?

If you're not sure which version you have, do the menu command Help > System Info. If you have a version prior to 8.3, do Help > Updates.

If you have 8.3 or later and tethering isn't working for you, it would be better to post a new message with details of your issue.

According to the list of supported cameras for tethering the Canon EOS R was just added May 15th with LR Classic 8.3.

Are you perhaps meaning the Canon EOS RP??

(The EOS RP camera just received Raw support in LR8.3 and tethering support usually follows 1-2 releases after that (with ~70-90 days between releases, that is just a guess depending on when Canon release a SDK for the tethering )

Adobe releases a new version of LR Classic about once every nine weeks (62 days):
