Hi,

I've spent some time creating albums using the web app (lightroom.adobe.com). I can find the albums on iPad (so sync works) but not on desktop. Where are they synced ?

The albums become collections if "on desktop" means in LR Classic. Go to the Collections panel and you should see them.

You can also use the filter at the top of the panel to show only synced collections.

The screenshot only shows LRCC. I've tested a few times today and the collection that I created in LrWeb always appears in LrClassic. Is Sync paused?

Try signing out, then back in again. And in Preferences, LR Sync, hold down Alt/Option and hit the Rebuild Sync Data button.

Now it's syncing over 30k pictures.
Processor usage is low, network usage is extremely low (below 50 Ko/s). Any idea where the bottlenck might be? :o

Lightroom maintains a cache of data related to syncing, Sync Data, and this occasionally goes wrong or the user does something that may invalidate the cache (eg moving the synced catalogue back and forth between computers). The Rebuild Sync Data button deletes this cache and makes Lightroom start it all over again, redoing the comparison of what's in the cloud versus what's in the catalogue. This is what you see in the activity area - not usually uploading or downloading photos but only comparing lots of metadata, which is just text.

Well...

Now it systematically crashes!!
The amount of pictures sometimes increases, sometimes decreases but stays between 25 k and 30 k, then does not changes and LR does not responds anymore.

I've already tried to reboot the app, reboot system and "Rebuild sync data" again as mentioned previously.

I've let it sync for several hours, LR freezes systematically after some time wo any error thrown. Are there some kind of logs that can be checked?

Hi,

Is the memory being consumed by LR steadily increasing during this time? Please check.

Also did you submit the crash reports when LR was crashing for you?

Thanks

No, memory does not seem to be impacted much.

I've always submitted the crash reports, I can copy one here if needed

Edit: actually, memory seems to be impacted quite severely, despite having 8 Go...

Hi,

can you please provide us with the email id you provided along with the crash report? It would help us in finding the crash report in the system.

Thanks
