Where are Bridge hidden files specified ?

Hi,

Currently, with the Show hidden files option disabled, Bridge insists on showing some unwanted types like XML or DOP files. I couldn't find a way to add new types to the list of files that shouldn't be displayed. I looked at the registry, in the Preferences, etc. No way. I suspect this is hard coded somewhere (which would be a design mistake). Correct ?

Filtering is a non satisfactory workaround because the filtering parameters are not sticky over sessions.

Bridge uses the file system hidden flag plus its own internal list for things like XMP files. XML files are not hidden by default in any file system, they are just text files. DOP are proprietary to DxO and Bridge doesn't treat them any differently than other binary files.

As David says, this isn't something a user can modify, but if you write up a feature request (Idea), and explain why we might all like to tidy up our view of our files by being able to customize the list of files that we don't see, I'd vote. I'm going to assume Bridge has too much to do that's critical to the Bridge functioning in a general way to get to this very soon, but the number of votes could grow over time and get them interested in it.
