When importing my pictures into LR4.1
used file change when importing
GB_{DATUM(JJJJMMTT>>}_{Dateinamensuffix>>}_D40
example says: GB_20120912_1506_D40.DNG

Input:
IMG_1506.CR2
IMG_1506.JPG
IMG_1507.CR2
IMG_1507.JPG

after import:
GB_20120809_2_D40.JPG
GB_20120809_1506_D40.DNG
GB_20120809_2_D40-2.JPG
GB_20120809_1507_D40.DNG
GB_20120809_2_D40-3.JPG
GB_20120809_1508_D40.DNG

Does someone know why this happens ?
I expected to have the same names for my jpg's
like for the DNG files

It looks like the ID number ("1506", "1507") does not exist for JPEGs. So, it is creating a bunch of duplicates that have to be made unique. Hence, we see _2, _3 as part of this names.

This looks like a defect. (Unless, somehow, the ID is not present in the JPEG copies. The ID is not taken from the filename, but is actually metadata in the file itself. It might be worthwhile using EXIFTool to inspect these JPEGs to determine if they even refer to the ID internally.)
