The G1Mark II does not need a lens profile. The Raw file has a built-in lens profile for distortion correction and is applied automatically.

If you have Adobe Camera Raw, you can open a Raw file and the Lens Correction tab will tell you if an embedded profile is being used.

I'm using Lightroom. Can I do the same there, or does it just happen automatically. Currently I have Lens Corrections disable for the G1 RAW files. Is this correct?

The profile is applied but Lightroom doesn't yet have the info indicator in the UI that notifies users of automatic lens profiles.
