Photoshop: When using the pen tool, sometimes the image automatically zooms or pans

I'm using an iMac 27 2018, both at home and in the office. I have the same problem on both machines. When ever I use the pen tool, sometimes it zooms out by it self whenever I put anchor points, or pans by itself. It is very annoying.

Howdy Johny,

Are you using a tablet?  What language is your keyboard set to?  Anything unusual about it?  Fully updated drivers?

It sounds like somehow PS is receiving two sets of commands and typically, that's the keyboard or a tablet's fault for giving erroneous input.

Thanks,
David

I'm using One by Wacom in the office and Wacom Bamboo at home. But often times I'm using my muse when ever I use the pen tool, and this things happen. I mostly experience that while using Photoshop, not while using Illustrator.

It sounds like your tablets are issuing additional commands to Photoshop than what they're supposed to be, triggering what you're seeing.  You probably need to report this to Wacom as it sounds like they need to isolate the commands their device is sending on your "behalf."  I know, it sounds like I'm passing the buck, but this is far from an isolated issue.  It's also not something we can really fix, since PS is literally doing what it's being told by the tablet.

Sorry,
David
