Photoshop 2015.5: When using a Wacom Intuos tablet in Windows 10, pressure sensitivity does not work with Mouse Mapping for the tablet

Windows 10 implements Windows Ink, which Photoshop 2015.5 is apparently now using for pen input functions.  This means that when using a Wacom, for pressure to be detected in Photoshop, "Pen mapping" must be used, since this is the only way in the Wacom configuration utility to also tell the tablet to use Windows Ink.  "Mouse mapping" does not have this option.

Unless "Use Windows Ink" is selected, Photoshop entirely fails to detect or use pressure input from the tablet.  Other software (zbrush, the Wacom preference utility, etc) detect and use pressure just fine.

As a result, Photoshop cannot utilize pen pressure sensitivity unless the tablet is set to Pen mapping, which is not preferable to some artists.

This is a 15+ year regression in functionality between Photoshop and Wacom tablets and is incredibly frustrating.

Jeffrey's solution is not working for me. Is this resolved? If so how?
