By loading an image into the image area are you referring to just "selecting" a photo and double clicking it? When I select one it enlarges it, but no question mark shows up anywhere on the page. I'm not supposed to be in the editor or anything am I?
I have tried adding a new folder in the My Folders and renaming it but that renamed folder now just stays in the position where the New Folder was instead of moving the folder where it belongs alphabetically. Something is wrong here. I was previously on Elements 8 and we upgraded to 15 a couple months ago (running on windows 10 now) and on 8 I had no problems moving pictures with the move function, but this is the first I had time to work with the 15 program. I have over 28000 photos in my program and have them all divided into folders except for the 1500 I have added since we upgraded which are all stuck in the "new folder" (this is where I import them into and then move them when I have time). Normally when I click on the Browse for selecting a move to location, it lists all my folders, but not anymore.

Yes, in the editor, load an image but that's all, then you will be able to see a ? in the lower-right area of the program. Next to the ? will be a down-arrow-menu, click it, then click "reset'. That resets all the tools.
As for the folders, in Windows 10 the folders will not alphabetize until you close the folder area and reopen it. A folder labeled "new folder" would be located under the N for "New Folder" in alpha-order.
Could it be that since you cannot move a folder, that it is in alpha-order, as you didn't expect it to be in that location because it is in an alpha-order?
