Has anyone run into the issue where, you're working on an old file that is already named, but when you save it as a new name, photoshop does not update the name? So if you try to export, or even just ctrl+s it will try to save as the old name?

Before the latest update, when I would save as a new name, the name would update in photoshop as well.

This expands as far as whatever folder I'm saving to not showing up in my "recent' documents in explorer, the newly named file does not show up in recent documents in photoshop either.

Edited to add: This only seems to happen if I'm working with pdf's that are preserved to be edited in photoshop.

Hi! i was having the same issue and after a long conversation with Adobe, it turns out that for some reason 'save as copy' was checked as default when saving. When this is unchecked it resolved my problem, hope it does yours too!

Wow, thanks for the suggestion Danielle! I will have to double check my settings and see if that solves the problem. Thanks for the tip!

No problem! I hope it works for you. My only issue now is that it seems to be set to 'save as copy' as default, so a bit annoying to have to keep remembering to uncheck it!

Haha I was just coming back to see if you had found a way to turn it off as a default... guess not! That totally worked for me though, so thanks for that! So frustrating that it somehow seems to have changed with the version update. :\
