PHOTOSHOP CC 2015: how to get rid of the partial display of files?

When opening a file with Photoshop CC 2015, it only gets displayed partly. Any kind of file... pictures or graphics - they always get displayed within the same sized horizontal area and cannot be viewed in full size on the screen.

Like opening a vertical file will still be shown within this somewhere pre-fixed horizontal area and I can only move it only within that area to see the different parts of the design.

What OS version are you using?

That sounds like some known video card driver bugs (usually solvable on Windows by updating the video card driver from the GPU maker's website. On MacOS you have to wait for Apple to release an update.).

OK, I don't know what it really was, but I closed and reopened Photoshop and when opening the file, changed the Thumbnail Size from Small to Fit Page ... and the image appears now in full. Hm... THANKS!

It was probably some of the known MacOS 10.10 video driver bugs. Apple is aware of the video driver bugs in MacOS 10.10 and working on solutions. (and you really should install the latest updates to pick up all their bug fixes)

There is another problem we're working on that might also cause it in certain circumstances -- but it didn't sound like you matched those circumstances.
