I have downloaded CS (7.0) on a laptop and when I modify a changed JPG image and try to 'save as', I get the the message that it can't save 'Due to a program error'.  What do I need to change in the set-up?

Did this ever work for you? What OS are you running on?

Jeffrey, Thanks for helping.  The laptop has Windows 7 and I don't remember a problem when I had CS on Windows XP.

Did you install all the updates after installing it? 7.0.2 is the latest update/version: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3446 That said, CS wasn't designed, nor tested to run on Win 7.

Thanks Jeffrey.  I will try the updates, but the interesting thing is that when I save the modified JPG as a tif, it saves just fine.  Only JPg to JPG has a problem.

Jeffrey,  When I reduced the resolution being saved in the new JPG, file, it saved just fine.
