Hi we are having concerns on exporting files. Wether you use preset export or own setting it goes through the motions and as it is suppose to finishing when looking at the progress bar, it failes and gives error message - did not render the image,or folder could not be found, or unexpected error ocured. Image sizes are raw and 18 meg ave per image.

It looks like your original file is missing. You would need to restore your original ARW file to the location where Lightroom expects to find it in order to create an export.

HI Rikk

Thanks for the response.

we have the images stored on HDD and have not moved it. we do the editing from there and then once done we export. of the 180 odd edited 77 failed to export. It also gives memory error from time to time hence us trying different pc. all were in same original file location. then trying on the second machine images stored on Flash Drive, we experienced same issues after editing with the export. we work from file location and opening images from there, edit and then export to different storage due to size.

how do we overcome this as its hours wasted at a time.

The exclamation point icon in your thumbnails at the bottom is your clue that the files are not where Lightroom expects to find them. Since this a Windows machine and Windows uses a Drive Letter to index its drives, my guess is that the drive letter has been changed by the OS.

If you go to a folder containing one of the errant images and right-click and request Show in Explorer, it will take you to the location where it expects to find the image. Then, in Explorer, search for the image by file name. Compare the results and see if the folder paths match - including the Drive Letter.

If the drive letter has changed, follow the steps here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-loses-photo-location-after-drive-letter-change---wind...

HI Rikk, thanks for comments. we have now reloaded all to one hdd and done editing from there. we have also resized via BR to jpg. all went fine and all resized to average size 2Meg /pic. we compared pathways and are same. we did editing after closing bridge. when ready to export we started and the following error occurred:

we truly hope this can be overcome by something simple, by the clever team.

Rikk Flohr, we have now tried not to do by batch from library, but rather from develop image by image and we can export one by one for three then not enough memory error again. 4.58M size. hope this helps
