I am a photographer and own a Canon Camera. I want to purchase photoshop, however, there are so many options to choose from, I don't know what to purchase. I would like to manipulate photos, show spinning features in dance scenes, and create hardcover books and wedding photography albums. I can't decide between Adobe photoshop extended CS5, Adobe photoshop extended CS6, Adobe Design Standard CS6, or the Adobe Master Collection CS6. I will be doing my work on an imac. I have the most recent version of mac 10.8.3 Does anyone have experience using any of these photoshop programs with the projects I have mentioned? After reading the comments on this site, it sounds like I would be better off getting the CS5 rather than the CS6...am I right? I am really confused and I don't want to do the CLOUD feature and pay the monthly fee. What are professional photographers using?

Why do you think the older (and unavailable) version would be better?

The suite options you list just vary in what other applications are included.
