I used Photoshop Album for some time, adding tags and making collections. I can no longer activate the product. Have I lost all of my work?

This is a great conversation that's separate from the main topic, so I created a new topic to continue the discussion. Please reference the new topic here: Where are my Photoshop.com photos?

Adobe Photoshop Album 3.0.

I know this is an old program but I have tons of photos on Adobe Photshop Album 3.0 and every time I connect my camera to the computer, it shoots directly to this program and downloads the pics. But then when I go to view them, it asks to register and when I put in my code, it says the program is discontinued but then I can't even view my photos cause a huge register page blocks them and I can't delete it. How can I retrieve my photos?

I cannot get my photos from Photoshop Album Started Edition 3.2!.

Help. An earlier version of Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 ate my photos that I downloaded from my Canon digital camera just now. Since this Adobe edition expired, I cannot access my photos. And, the photos got deleted from my camera as well. It says I should try Photoshop.com for free, but when I went there, there are so many options, I don't know what to download. What do I do to get my photos?

Program ate my photos.

I just transfered pictures from a camera into Album Starter Ed 3.0 and have no registration number. I can see the pictures but the registration screen comes up not allowing me access to images. Is there anyway I can get these even though the product has been discontinued since 2009? I'm on Windows XP

Photoshop Album Transition.

I have Photoshop Album 2.0. I have continued to use it after receiving the notice from Adobe that they would no longer be supporting it. At that time I tried unsuccessfully to follow Adobe's advice to transition my entire library over to Photoshop.com. I have just tried again and again could not do it. I like Photoshop Album but am concerned about continuing to use it. What are my options for transferring all my photos over to a new service offering similar features to Photoshop Album?

Photos locked in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition. How can they be retrieved? I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 in Window XP. I never registered the Album Starter Addition.

These pictures are of my son's wedding and can not be replaced. I will gladly pay for any download.

a photo in album 2.0 was stored somewhere unknown. How can I use that photo even though I cannot reconnect it with the original.

The photo is tattooed with a red square on it. The error message is unless I reconnect it, I will not be allowed to use it - even though it is my photo. How can Adobe be so brazen and tricky and take a photo owned by someone else and then through artifices they restrict the use of it.

They should at least alert the public that they reserve the right to restrict the use of someone's property without their approval. Furthermore photo enthusiasts should find someone who does not aspire to these ugly tactics.

Your photos were never INSIDE Adobe Photo Album. The red-mark on the thumbnail means the original photo has been moved or removed since you last imported it in APA.

You are absolutely right.

All I know is that I lent or gave Adobe control of my photo's ownership rights. I did this feeling that Adobe was an honorable and trustworthy outfit that would take care of my photo for my benefit.

However, I was maneuvered into taking certain steps which seemed to be related to the processing of the photo.. Now the use of the photo is gone. This occurred without any warning or alert announced. Since I participated in the maneuvering Adobe after a self analysis declared themselves in a no fault position and they refuse to give me back the use of my photo.

This should be a lesson to me of in who I should put absolute trust .

I want Adobe to return to me the use and enjoyment of my photo that I had prior to handing it over to them.

The photo is a representation of a particular moment in time , of particular people in a particular location. The value of the photo is so immense that to lose it is a tragedy. I do not feel this is a serious factor in Adobe,s methodology.

How about a protective measure such as a duplication of the image with an image that carries the risk of loss and preserving the original.

I would strongly suggest to the photo public the admonition do not proceed with an Adobe program without first securing your original in a foolproof safe position.
