Have PE5 and now have bought PE#10. Want to put #10 on new laptop, but was bought as a upgrade. Does it have to be put with PE#5 copy to work, or will it stand alone ok.

You can install and activate Photoshop Elements on two of your personal computers (Mac or Windows).

You can find installers for Elements 7 through 14 here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-...

If you're installing an upgrade version, the prior version does not need to be installed on the computers you want to install PSE 10 on - though you may be asked for your prior version serial number during the installation process.

If you're planning to get rid or an old computer but it still runs, choose Help>Deactivate... or Help>Sign-Out... to remove the activation from the computer before you dispose of the computer or sell it. Instructions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/po...

If you've lost an activation because of a hardware failure and the system no longer runs, go to this page and work with a chat agent. They should be able to restore your activation: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/po...

If you don't remember your serial # but you've registered your product, you can sign into adobe.com and access your serial #s here: https://www.adobe.com/account/my-prod...
