This turned into a toy compared to the powerful tool it was, why would you mix it all up, remove support for certain lenses, move menu's around.
I need a download link for the previous version, and dia ble automatic updates, this is outragous and wasting so much of my day to find the tools i need......

Thanks, Andrew - I can't find any information on that page about the process.  The Creative Cloud update (the most recent) changed my Photoshop to 21.2.0 and ACR to 12.3.

I understand how to unzip files, of course, click on the 'exe' file, etc., but what I don't see is any way to remove ACR 12.3.  Should I not worry about that?  Will the ACR 12.2 zip/exe file overwrite the ACR 12.3 file which CC installed?

Thanks in advance for your help.

ACR has its own dedicated installer which you can find at the URL I provided.
You will also need to update Bridge IF you use it with the older version of ACR. That you do through Creative Cloud by clicking on the three dots (...) and selecting "Other Versions".
You do NOT need to futz with Photoshop itself; just ACR if you wish to go to the last version. Use the installer for that.
