Lightroom CC: What happened to my old catalogs?

I cannot see my old catalog in the new LRCC. Apparently I have to migrate them to the ̈Cloud ̈, but with a 256 kb upload line it is not going to happen.
Is there a way to adapt them into LRCC from their ext drive?

Not really, does it?
It just tells you how to migrate the old cats. I cannot work with the Cloud, my Line is simple too slow..So it is goodbye to LRCC before it began

Lightroom CC is meant for cloud storage. If you only have a very slow internet connection, then don't use it.

I'm not sure you understand. Lightroom CC is a new application. Lightroom Classic CC is the next version of the Lightroom you know and use right now. That is also subscription only. So it's not too bad you just paid, it means another year of Lightroom Classic use.

Lightroom CC is not meant as a replacement for Lightroom Classic. It's designed for people who want a simplified workflow through a cloud based service. High volume photographers are going to want to stick with Lightroom Classic which, by the way, has gone through a pretty cool update itself. Others may want to try the cloud based workflow offered by Lightroom CC.
As usual, Julieanne Kost explains it better in this video:

The whole thing is worth a look but skip to the 3:35 mark for the part that speaks to your specific issue.

Again, I hope that helps.

Thank you very much. My fault, of course.
Should have read it all before installing the new Cloud.
Julieanne is always explaining things brilliantly.
Going back to what now is Classic what I mistook for Being the old LR6 version.
