That feature's not in 1.0, but I'll convert this to a feature request.

I've found the watermark is only added when you "share" or upload the photo to adobe. You cannot specifically add your personal brand to the photo, which is extremely frustrating.

When is this being introduced??? It has been a while since this basic requirement was converted to a feature request.

It is so unacceptable that we cannot add a signature to a photo in lightroom cc 2019. I spent all day yesterday upgrading from classic to lightroom cc 2019 and now, i am going to cancel and go back!!! What

Hey everyone! I got sick of waiting for Adobe to add this, so I made a web app that can add watermarks to multiple photos at once and export the results to your PC. It's completely free, works on all web browsers, works offline, and has similar watermark options to Lightroom Classic. You can export your photos from Lightroom CC, import them into PhotoStack, pick your watermark, and export again.

You can try it out here: https://photostack.app

I would also really want to see watermark support in the new Lightroom. I like the new design, but the lack of exporting with watermarks is the main reason I can't switch.

Currently watermark functionality is in this state:

Lightroom Classic CC:  Text and Graphic Watermarks
Lightroom CC for desktop: No Watermarking feature at this time.
Lightroom CC for mobile (iOS and Android) Text Watermarks
Lightroom CC for Web: No Watermarking feature at this time.

Watermarking capability enhancement is planned but there is no ETA for this feature at this time.

This is lame. I just downloaded and started with Lightroom CC and agree with others, this should be standard, no exceptions. Now that I've paid for my subscription, how do I get classic so I watermark?

Rikk Flohr - your current state comment isn't very helpful. I think people want dates.

This is unacceptable. How do you offer photographers a platform that doesn't provide for watermarking (image or text)?

Please add the Watermark graphic option at the earliest opportunity for Lightroom CC for Windows.  I am stunned that it is not available.  I do all my photo editing in Lr, but then have to open Ps to add the logo - a feature available in Lightroon Classic, and Lightroom on iPad etc.  This is madness!

I did the same and was unhappy.  I don't like the layout or anything with he new lightroom cc.  I downloaded lightroom Classic CC For my mac book and all is good.  I only use cc to import already edited photos to link with portfolio and send image preview links

Just spent a whole hour editing in the new CC only to find out I have to use the older version to watermark. How did they miss the mark on that?

We can't work with the Lightroom CC without watermarks. We really need this! Please Adobe consider this a very important feature.

I downloaded and edited not realising there was no watermark option. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

I would not have purchased Lightroom CC if I knew that I couldn't add watermarks, like any other modern photo editor.

I'm finding this version really unhelpful. I can't watermark or name files??? Frustrating and time consuming

I have a real disdain for the new lightroom cc.  I used lightroom Classic cc to do my editing and I export them with watermark to a folder on my laptop.  I then import to Lightroom cc as an album only to link to portfolio and give sharable preview links.

I don't even like the layout of Lightroom cc.  Only reason i even updated was because lightroom version I had didn't support the updated version of camera raw and there was no update for it o make it work.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled watermarking for shared album.

We will definitely need a watermarking tool for all photo before sharing our photo online for our client, like for selection.

As a professional I sometimes limit the amount of FINAL IMAGES that may be used. Watermarking is ESSENTIAL in order to protect the download or plain screen-wrapping of images. It is essential to safe guard the quality of my end product. Unedited images may be used as final product. I have had numerous times actors and even celebrities using unmarked images on their professional promotional platforms. Seeing it appearing in news outlets or even on IMBD! Without watermarking images lead their own life. Down the line the graphic designer or assistant will not ask :"DO WE HAVE THE USAGE RIGHTS?". Not watermarking hurts my business and is extremely frustrating. ADD THIS FEATURE TO CC. otherwise this program is useless for me. Great for amateurs not for professionals. Intagram:richardkoek

I actually think this was Adobe's intention. They may have determined that their next big market for market growth were the "true" amateurs and Adobe then targeted that specific market segment. After they released Lightroom CC, the professionals created so much noise that they had to produce LR Classic CC and when they did that, it was a halfhearted sloppy product due to the rush to do public relations damage control.

Victoria, As you know, perception is reality. And when they released it, what I saw first was Lightroom CC, and I did not become aware of Lightroom Classic CC until later. In fact I did not feel Lightroom CC was of interest to me. I guess I should retract my theory so as not to mislead anyone. What I remember most is how hard it was to understand what Adobe was doing.

So it's not just me!  No watermark feature makes the program useless for me as well. Now I have to find a program to do that with - yet another expense.  I detest the new Lightroom, enough so that I will stop using the programs altogether.  They took a good product and trashed it.

Please add this feature back! We need the ability to watermark photos without having to go through a third party software or run everything through a batch program in PS.
