Lightroom: Watermarking on selected photos

I think, next time a new version of Lightroom comes out, Adobe should consider, consumers being able to add Identity Plates or Watermarking on an "Image-by-image" basis. What I mean is, we should be able to add a watermarking to a single photo if we choose to. Instead of opting to put it in a group of imported or exported set of photos, or for viewing purposes. We should, also, be able to do it in the Library and Develop Modules, aside from the Slideshow, Web, and Print Modules.

You can export 1 photo with watermark. It's better to make an export presets with and without watermark and choose the one appropriate for the situation. You can export more than once at the same time. I find it actually faster since it utilize multi-core CPU better (just my observation).
And why would you want watermark in Library and Develop modules? It doesn't make any sense at all.
I would support more feature and better watermarking options by any mean. But I don't think Adobe will look at it with high priority if at all.

Why not flag the images you want to WM, filter by flag, and then export only those images?

A WM flag, or edit the 'Flagged intent' of the image by having a flag menu, so you can assign the flag to either watermark, a certain preset etc. When choosing batch images to export, some images have a flag attached, some don't
