Much like exposure and color correction settings are associated with images, it would be nice to also have the ability to associate a specific watermark to individual images via either the Library or Develop module. An additional pane would be added to allow selection of a watermark from a drop-down list of ones previously created via the Edit Watermarks feature. Additionally, placement options could be overridden for that specific image if desired, or the default placement of the watermark could be used.

Why this would be useful:
When attempting to watermark dozens or hundreds of images, it is difficult to design a watermark that will fit every image. Many times different variations of watermarks work better for lighter, darker, or busier images. Some images even require special placement due to content. This is not convenient during the export process as it requires multiple exports, or even creating additional groups to categorize which images work with which watermarks and where.

Other considerations:
During exports, the existing watermark features could be left in place, with an additional option given to the user to (a) use watermarks already assigned to images when possible, or (b) override assigned watermarks with the user's choice during the export.

When opening a file for editing in Photoshop, and the user chooses to "apply Lightroom adjustments," an additional option could be provided to include or exclude any assigned watermark.
