Photoshop: Can't resize pasted content (watermark) from Illustrator in CS6

so when i paste my wtermark image i create in illustrator it wont let me change the size like in cs4 who do i do this? im so use to the cs4

Which product are you using? Which version?

Can you provide more details about what you are doing, and trying to accomplish?

cs6 and when i copy my watermark in illustrator and paste it in photoshop it is super large and i cant shrink it like in cs4

Sounds like you chose a different mode when pasting the AI artwork (when you get the choice of bitmap, path, smart object, etc.).

so how do i fix this? because i work at school on macs and it has the cs4 and it works there

When the dialog asks how you want to paste the paths from AI, choose the same mode you did in CS4.

Can't resize? Is it because the transform handles are shown off the screen? If you hit Cmd + 0 after you paste your watermark, can you see the resize handles?

no it just zooms in to the image

Can you do a screen shot of your entire screen after you past your Illustrator content so we can see the state of layers panel and the document window?
